We purchased a Malaysian Sugar Bowl from Vandalays Antique store in Springfield to be the base for our dining room table. The chairs (6) came from Pier One Imports. The cost of the bowl was $800 and the Chairs were $139 each. The glass (not yet arrived) was $375 plus $40 delivery. There was an additional devlivery charge for the bowl of $30. Grand total...$2079 not including tax. Without the glass.. it looks like we have a caldron in our dining room. Creepy.
The chandelier is from the 70's passed down to us from Walt and Wanda and same with the guilded mirror. We have a Jim Draper palm tree (original painting) and a pair of watercolor and ink pieces from Susan (look up last name). By the front door is a gorgeous black and white photograph of Brent's sister and her husband (wedding photo) with an elephant taken at the New Orleans Zoo.
